On this page I will share books, blogs, podcasts, websites, and other resources I believe thinking Christians will find thought-provoking.

Podcasts

The Briefing:  Albert Mohler introduces each episode of The Briefing as “a daily analysis of news and events from a Christian world view.”  Dr. Mohler is the president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  In this daily podcast he discusses daily news stories and offers insights from a Christian perspective.  Each weekday episode is almost 30 minutes in length.  

Thinking in Public:  This podcast is also hosted by Albert Mohler.  In this program Dr. Mohler has conversations with some of the leading thinkers of the day.  Often he discusses the guest’s most recent book.  This podcast is usually around an hour long, and a new one comes out a few times per year.

Cold-Case Christianity:  This podcast is hosted by J. Warner Wallace, a cold-case detective who uses the skills he developed as a cold-case detective to investigate the truth of Christianity.  This Christian Apologetics podcast produces a new podcast about every week.  Each episode is about an hour long.  J. Warner Wallace also has a very active website also called Cold-Case Christianity.  He has written several apologetics books that are filled with information and are enjoyable to read.

Renewing Your Mind:  This podcast is produced by Ligonier ministries, which was founded by the late R. C. Sproul.  Most of these podcasts are half hour segments of sermons or teaching series by R. C. Sproul or others at Ligonier ministries.  This podcast is filled with excellent Reformed Christian teaching.

Light + Truth:  This podcast is described as classic sermons from John Piper to help you see Christ clearly and treasure Him truly.  Each podcast is generally less than 30 minutes long.

Messages by Desiring God:  This podcast features longer sermons John Piper and others at Desiring God.
